We’ll be exploring the Dogwood Trail at Bernadette Morales Nature Preserve in Flemington. This family-friendly loop winds through the woods with peaceful views for a short but refreshing walk.

Meet at the parking lot: 103 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ

Sunday at 10:00 AM

About 1.2 miles total (~40 minutes at a casual pace)

Dogs welcome on leash

Come enjoy the fresh air, stretch your legs, and soak in the last days of summer together.

Children will explore the outdoors, gather natural materials, and learn how to create their own paint pigments straight from nature. Lauren will guide them in using these pigments to craft beautiful, nature-inspired works of art.

Join us for a playful, peaceful evening of Kids Yoga in the Park, led by our amazing parent volunteer and certified yoga instructor, Jen C.

👧🏽👦🏻 Who: Open to all children ages 2 to 6 years — parents welcome to join or relax nearby!

Jen will guide the kids through fun yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindful movement in nature.

Join us on a Swan Creek Adventure with Splash Classroom to learn about:

🌊 River Critters – Explore animals living under rocks or dig through trays to discover what’s at the bottom of the creek.

🪶 Bird Basics – Short walk along the water to spot birds, use binoculars, and guess what they eat based on how they look and act.

🌎 Keep Our River Clean – See how rain carries pollution—and how we can help protect the river.
